Implementing Nusa Putra's Trilogy in Social Life

Introducing my name is Raffi Abdul Aziz. I am currently studying S1 Accounting at Nusa Putra University. I am one of the lucky people who can study at Nusa Putra University with the Sukabumi regent scholarship, it is because every year Nusa Putra University always cooperates with the regent of Sukabumi in order to provide scholarships so that Sukabumi children can study for free without paying fees like regular non-scholarship children.

Therefore, as a student of Nusa Putra University, I must carry out the Trilogy on this campus. The trilogy found on this campus is AMOR DEUS, AMOR PARENTIUM, AMOR CONCERVIS. In this paper I will tell my experience in carrying out one of the Trilogies, namely AMOR CONCERVIS which means love for others.

As humans we cannot live alone without the company of others. Aristotle, in his book Politics, stated that “Man is by nature a social animal; an individual who is unsocial naturally and not accidentally is either beneath our notice or more than human.” Therefore, we must do good to others regardless of their backgrounds, because we are all the same creatures of God who are commanded to help each other.

Participating in activities in the community is one of the forms that we care and are not indifferent to others, one of which is by joining the committee for the August competition which is held every year.

The August competition is one of the most common activities carried out by the people of Indonesia, including in my village, Cikaret. Every year there must be a competition to commemorate Indonesia's independence day, and last year I was part of the committee in charge of organizing the event so that it could run smoothly. In this activity, I worked together with other committees to organize the event so that it could run smoothly according to plan.

I do these activities solely because I want to benefit the surrounding environment and not be a student who has no impact on his environment. This is also included in one of Nusa Putra's third Trilogy, AMOR CONSEVIS, which means love for others.

Love is not only about a man and a woman who are in a relationship because they have feelings of love for each other, but far more than that, love for others can be interpreted as a form of concern for others so that they care and want to contribute to activities that are or will be carried out in their environment.

Therefore, I took part in the activity because I wanted to contribute to what was happening around me and I wanted to practice one of Nusa Putra's third Trilogy, AMOR CONSERVIS, which means love for others.
